OS AMANTES INVISÍVEIS - “NOVO” E.P. [2013]

"Novo" is the second EP from Os Amantes Invisíveis (The Invisible Lovers). The band was formed in London in 2009 by Brazilian singer Marina Ribeiro and Greek composer Alexis Gotsis. They came to Brazil in 2010, in order to find a new sound and line-up.

The songs were recorded and mixed in São Paulo, at Studio El Rocha and mastered at Unity Mastering in London. The e.p. shows the new face of Os Amantes Invisíveis and introduces their third member, guitarist Clayton Vilaça. However their live shows now count eight members on stage.

In the past three years the band’s sound has matured but is still faithful to the idea of being contemporary while keeping its Brazilian roots, a fusion that back in the 70s was described as “Universal Sound” by the Tropicalistas. This time guitars meet glockenspiels while a string quartet is rocking the baião . This is "New". This is “Novo” by Os Amantes Invisíveis.

“Novo” é o segundo E.P. dos Amantes Invisíveis, banda formada em Londres em 2009 pela dupla greco brasileira Marina Ribeiro e Alexis Gotsis e que veio, em 2010 para o Brasil, para encontrar a sua formação definitiva.

Gravado e mixado no estúdio El Rocha (SP) e masterizado no renomado Unity Mastering de Londres, o e.p. mostra a nova cara dos Amantes Invisíveis, que agora conta com o guitarrista Clayton Vilaça e ao vivo, é composta por até oito integrantes.

Nesses três anos é notável o amadurecimento sonoro da banda mas sem deixar de ser fiel a ideia de ser atual mantendo suas raízes brasileiras. Agora, guitarras se misturam com glockenspiel e o baião encontra um quarteto de cordas, esse é o “Novo” e.p. dos Amantes Invisíveis.
